Colin is thriving.
I have voiced my concerns that Son of Colin may actually have been the black sheep of the family and that, given freedom from his repressive negativity, Colin goes from strength to strength.
I have been sticking to the plan in terms of watering and I have not really felt the need to give him any plant food. I think I will do so once or twice in the next couple of months and then I will let him rest during winter and hit him hard with the food again in Spring. I continue to regularly mist him and I have been happy that the soil I have him in seems to be doing what I mean it to - namely draining well.
Below is a photo of Colin today. I need to think of a way to quantify his improvements and am debating whether height or pre-watering weight is the best way to go about this.
