?A death in the family??

Son of Colin is not doing well. Not well at all.

I had concerns yesterday when I got home from work. He had drooped over and was looking forlorn. His leaves were flaccid and had lost their youthful sheen. Where the stem had flopped over was some bruising so I hastily improvised a splint to straighten him out. I had been hoping for him to have perked up a bit this morning but if anything, he looked worse. Like he had given up the fight.

Now that he has his little crutch, I was reminded of Tiny Tim from A Christmas Carol. This may well be anthropomorphism taken to the extreme but I hope the little chap rallies and comes through.

I am worried though and will need to reflect on what went wrong here. A photo will follow this evening so long as I can bear to take it.

Colin on the other hand is looking very hale. Every cloud hey?
